I Get a Hair Makeover!

Pink hair makeover on Mirella Manelli

Finally! I’ve been dying to get my hair done for months. Now isn’t that ironic? A hairdresser that needs her hair done? Watch me get a hot pink hair makeover by Tina with before and after results!

Now that I have four kids, it is hard to find time for me! I’m ready for a hot pink hair makeover. Luckily, I have a team that is willing to help beautify me. I need my pink hair to match my salon!

Tina used a mixture of baby lights to give me lots of brightness that will help blend out my grays! Back to back babylights will do the trick for sure.

I was looking to create more of a 90s vibe, so Tina did a mix of babylights and highlights to create that look. Take a look at another version of 90s hair that I created!

Here is the formula: I used all Kenra Color Blue Powder Lightener with 30vol developer. Roots: 6NB permanent color with 20Vol with a one to one mixing ratio. Final glaze: 7NA in demi permanent color with a 1:2 mixing ratio and 9Vol developer. We also added 8VM with 1 inch of Red Booster.

All of my color tools are by Framar!

Don’t have time to come into the salon? I like to use Moroccanoil Color Depositing Hair Mask in Hibiscus in between visits to maintain my color. What I love most about this line of hair masks is they contain a blend of extremely hydrating ingredients so my hair does not feel dry after.

I decided to style my hair using Kenra Blow-dry spray because it gives me a nice heat protectant as well as helping reduce frizz. I then curled my hair using a 1 1/4 inch Marcel Curling Iron.

Here is another version of 90s Chunks! Watch the final result video located on my Instagram!
