Filling Blonde Hair to Brunette

In this video, I show you how to take over-processed blonde hair by filling first, then taking it to a rich brunette copper.

Remember, when you are filling the hair, its primary job is to replace the pigments that were lost during the lightening process to promote the longevity of color.

I shared this back in February and it became my @behindthechair_com nomination 🌸 You can see she has this green cast on her hair and we take her from this over compromised hair to a much healthier looking end result.

How do we take her from level 9/10 to a 5/6?
Answer: FILL THE HAIR FIRST
.
What happens if you don’t use a filler?
1. Your color can look hollow.
2. The color washes out fast!
3. It can look muddy
4. You’re dealing with porosity issues so it can also look blotchy!
.
For this model, I took her over-processed, bleached hair, and filled her hair with Demi-Permanent. Demi is ammonia-free and this is the BEST option when dealing with compromised hair.
