In this video I show you how to babylight on dark Level 1 hair to create the illusion of hair painting throughout the hair.

Talk about an all-day project! In this video, I show you how to do babylights on dark hair. I worked on this head of hair, starting from a level 1 with some grown-out highlights.  She wanted the illusion of hair painting and that’s simply not possible without foils.  So I took lots of foils throughout using a baby light technique and then finished with alternating teasy lights and babylights on top.

Formula:

I used 30vol in Simply Blonde Blue Powder Lightener and processed her for about an hour.  Pre-toned with SV Rapid Toner and Blue Booster at the bowl, and then finished her with a shadow root of 6A/7A into 8B/8VM in Demi on dry hair.
